We started looking into GPS trackers for our mortuary business as a way to help us save money on fuel. We know that our bill was not lining up with the amount of calls that we were receiving. We needed to investigate where the disconnect was within our organization. We started the investigation with our employees driving patterns.
Each of our drivers are allowed to take the vans home with them at the end of the day. While we don’t mind an occasional stop off to the grocery store, we do not allow them to take large trips with the company van.

Another scenario the Location Based Tech solution resolved is we have had drivers call our dispatcher lost. Now we are able to pinpoint their location and help get them accurate directions to get them back on track.
